Version 0.0.4:
Download Mac Os Big Sur Beta 6
Version 0.0.4 is a pretty big release with fixes that should close a couple of issues. This also works on making it easier for me to diagnose problems, especially with the number of people submitting a screenshot instead of the actual text
- Click to Copy now appears under error boxes so that people learn to stop giving me screenshots, and give me the actual error
- Fixed disk1x clipping, in cases where the selected USB is mounted at something greater than disk9 (so disk10, disk11, etc up to disk99 this will work)
- Patched Sur now uses a dynamic micropatcher version, so I can tell it to use v0.5.2 instead of v0.5.1 when it comes out without having to publish a new release of Patched Sur
- The Settings screen in the Post Install app now looks a little bit different so I can add more things in the future
- The password is invalid bug should now be fixed. I took out the quotes enclosing it (there will still be some problems, but this removes a couple)
- The How It Works text now has some (unfinished) contents including some much needed credits
- The EFI Boot and Install macOS Big Sur boot options should now have some Patched Sur styled icons (not all boot screens will show them, but it helps for those that do)
- Your build number has now been added to the custom About This Mac screen in the post-install app
- The 'Beta' word has been taken out of the custom About This Mac screen if you don't have a beta macOS
- You can now skip the Installer USB is plugged in check for patch kexts (you'll have to rename the installer USB and app to have Beta in the name)
A lot of fixes, but a lot more is to come! I have big plans for the next release v0.1.0!
